REM Security and Safety Services, LLC was founded in Towanda, PA in September of 2009 by Robert E. McLinko. His goal was to provide quality security services to various companies involved in the natural gas drilling of the Marcellus Shale. Robert’s grandson Anthony was recruited to help establish and grow the business and has been running REM ever since. Robert passed away in January of 2019, leaving Anthony to carry on his legacy with REM.

REM Security and Safety has become one of the leaders in critical infrastructure protection throughout Northeast Pennsylvania, and in early 2018 REM expanded by opening an office in Wheeling, WV. REM has established an excellent team in the area and continue to grow their operations in Southwestern Pennsylvania, & West Virginia.

Since inception in 2009, REM has developed best-in-class expertise, operating procedures, employee training, and quality assurance programs which are completely catered to the needs of its clients. REM provides a wide variety of safety and security services including but not limited to gate security, safety consulting, event security, traffic control, flagging, and industrial security.
